Some cool steelhead "train series" flies by a cool cat named Skeet .

Some of the cool reels, and tube tying materials offered by http://www.speyco.net/

Pete Humphreys tying a templedog style tube.

And a pic of that templedog. Pete said that olive flies, with copper and green flashabou do real well on the muskegon river.

Another one of the train series.

A templedog with a turbo cone!

These flies belong to the guy that owns www.carvedfish.com .
These pictures are from Speyfest 2009, put on by the guys at www.greatlakesspeyshop.com Bob Braendle does a really good job putting this thing together. Bob had a colorful cast surrounding him, including Dec Hogan, Pete Humphreys, Fred Vargas and Bruce Berry. It was a great time and everyone seemed to know each other. I met a lot of really good people! I would also like to give some props for Great lakes fly fishing for providing hot coffee (including a free coffee mug), and a fantastic Pig roast lunch!
